This rich brown ale has wonderful flavour notes of toffee, caramel, nuts, chocolate and toast.  We have balanced the alcohol at 4.7% and with a soft bitterness that doesn’t overpower the flavour.  This traditional 17th century brew has been brought up to date with some wonderful English hop additions and subtle adjuncts to enhance the flavour and body.
